Dear Nicky, Mike and the team,

I would just like to say a huge thank you for the surf lessons my family have had today.
My husband and three boys surfed with you. They range in age from 7 years up and in ability level from beginner, through improver and intermediate to riding the green water out back.
Each of them felt they had excellent tuition from the instructors, specifically looking at how they could improve as an individual. Although it was a group lesson this focus on each individual by the surf instructors was outstanding. Each of them made excellent progress.

My oldest son has been to five surf schools previously and the tuition he received today was head and shoulders above anything he has ever had before. Thank you so much. I am sure they will be back.

I meant to drop you a note before now to say how much we enjoyed seeing you all again and to thank for all your attention and flexibility towards our surfing. The whole set up is great and i'm really impressed with your relaxed but first class, professional approach to tuition. It's brilliant that you've provided us with the opportunities to have great experiences in the waves. Thanks also for being so amenable towards Duncan and letting him use Nicky's surfboard. He definitely has the desire to improve and to get himself out the back.

Hi Nicky and Mike,
 
A quick note to say thank you for the excellent tuition my son and I had over the weekend. 
With ‘Raven’ I learned more in 2 sessions than the previous 20 years, and after a day of tuition I was not just standing confidently on the board, but was actually trimming along ‘green waves’, having a total blast. You and the team seemed to know exactly what to say, and when to say it, so that I could pick up each tip in turn without getting overloaded with information, yet steadily progress through the day. 
My 9 yr old Son also went from being a total beginner to being able to stand and catch waves most of the time, and I now have some very precious memories of surfing side to side with my boy, both of us grinning ear to ear as we coasted all the way to the beach…simply awesome.
Please pass our thanks on to Bryn, Darren and James for all their help over the weekend, and tell them to keep up the Disco Warm Ups.
We’ll be back with the rest of the family later in the year.

Hi to you both, Mike and Nicky 
I wanted to write and say how much we all enjoyed the two lessons that Mike gave us on the Monday and Tuesday of May Bank Holiday weekend.
The adults among us have all had a hand in coaching of some kind(football and kayaking) and we appreciated the excellent tuition and the quality time that Mike spent with each of us individually.
We were a very mixed group: age, ability, confidence, and fitness (the warm up was challenging for some of us!!) and we were all given excellent and valuable tuition in order to progress.  Some of our number were determined to stand up on a board before we left Cornwall, and the confidence that the lessons gave us paid dividends. I attach a couple of photos, of Kate and Charlie and Joshua in the sea, the day after the lesson. We chose Raven because of the friendly and efficient booking procedure that we felt was personal to us,
rather than just being made to feel like we were part of a standard group session. We were certainly not disappointed on arrival and were impressed that all the equipment we would need would be provided and was of a very high quality.

Dear Mike
May i say what a really enjoyable experience my 3 kids had last tuesday (2nd August) on your schools surfing lesson.
From the safety speech,through the warming up then the surfing itself.
My kids Georgia,Hannah and Archie says it was the best part of their holiday, so thank you for that.
For me,it was seeing James and Bryn doing countless headcounts and keeping the school together,which showed that safety was top priority.
